(ECAP – Epidemiology of Allergic Diseases in Poland) is conducted on behalf of the Minister of Health and is a continuation of the European Community Respiratory Health Survey II (ECRHS II) and International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC). The ECAP study is the first study on the epidemiology of allergic diseases in Poland on such a large scale. It will cover 9 regions of Poland, where nearly 23 thousand randomly selected people (children and adults) will be analyzed, of which about 30% will undergo diagnostic medical examinations for the diagnosis of allergic diseases. Stage I: questionnaire survey – 22.5 k participants Stage II: complementary medical examination – 7 k participants
